10. The specialty examination shall cover the theoretical and clinical aspects of the class of specialization concerned. In particular, it shall assess, in various clinical situations, the assimilation and application of knowledge and skills acquired by the nurse, for the purpose of determining if she is able to practice independently as a specialized nurse practitioner in the class of specialization concerned.
